The Series

Chicago, 2091. The city runs on neural links, android police, and total surveillance. Clones are property. AI must earn the right to be called alive. And beneath it all, a covert organization moves through the dark — protecting the people the system erases.

They are the Void Knights. Deniable operatives, investigators, and protectors — a chosen family with pasts they can't speak of and a mission bigger than any of them knows. Their war is against ASTRA Mining and Technology and its founder, Sarah Miller, whose ambitions reach farther than anyone suspects.

Some of the Knights aren't from here. Some aren't even from now. What they're really here to prevent — that's the story.

The ARCHERON

// DEEP-SURVEY VESSEL — LAST KNOWN HEADING: 82 ERIDANI

Episode 1 begins nowhere near Chicago. It begins aboard the ARCHERON — a deep-survey expedition carrier, four years out from home, sent to the 82 Eridani system to survey a distant super-Earth for platinum and signs of life.

The survey data says the planet is a routine prize. The survey data is wrong. What her crew finds waiting in the dark — buried, patient, and older than human history — will change what the word "home" means. None of them will complete the return journey. All of them will arrive somewhere.

The Knights

PERSONNEL FILES — PARTIAL RECOVERY
SOME RECORDS REDACTED

Nine operatives confirmed. Origins unverified. If you've seen any of these faces, you haven't.

Auto — armored figure with glowing orange eyes
FILE 01 — J. STONE
Auto CONTRACTOR — PROVENANCE UNKNOWN

A masked contractor who appears when the job is impossible and leaves before the questions start. His armor survives things armor shouldn't. Nobody knows who builds his equipment. Nobody asks twice.

Maeve — red-haired pilot in dark flight helmet
FILE 02 — M. CALLAGHAN
Maeve PILOT

Flies anything with a throttle, without ceremony and without missing. If the Knights need to be somewhere they can't be, Maeve is how they get there. She doesn't talk about where she learned.

Dr. Naomi Keene — woman with silver locs in a dark coat
FILE 03 — N. KEENE
Dr. Naomi Keene PHYSICIAN

The team's doctor, operating behind a quiet medical practice. Calm, practical, a doctor's hands. She once brought something back from very far away — and it hasn't finished with her yet.

Violeht — purple-haired woman with glowing violet implants
FILE 04 — A. LEE
Violeht COMMUNICATIONS & INTELLIGENCE

If a signal moves through Chicago, Violeht has already heard it. She runs the Knights' ears — intercepts, comms, and the kind of intelligence that keeps people alive without them ever knowing.

Vulture King — bearded man in a dark suit and fedora
FILE 05 — V. KING
Vulture King SENIOR COMMAND

Calm command presence in a black fedora. He leads like a man who has already lost everything he was afraid to lose — and decided to make it count. The operation runs on his word.

Salome — woman with dark curls and pearls, city behind her
FILE 06 — REDACTED
Salome OPERATIVE & INVESTIGATOR

The first Void Knight. Operative, investigator, hunted by systems that would rather she didn't exist. Controlled on the outside, something else entirely underneath — and she can't explain why she needs to sing.

Seagull — older man with a glowing amber cybernetic eye
FILE 07 — S. GYU-HAN
Seagull SCIENCE & ANALYSIS

The Knights' resident scientist, with an amber optic where his right eye used to be. He has personally analyzed things that officially don't exist. His reports make people quiet.

Gahrek — hooded woman with an orange cybernetic eyepiece
FILE 08 — R. TAKEDA
Gahrek ENGINEERING & FIELD OPS

Engineer first, operative when it matters. She builds and maintains hardware decades ahead of anything on the market — and she is exactly as dangerous in the field as she is at the bench.

Mantis — slim man in a black scale suit
FILE 09 — M. RAMIREZ
Mantis BIOLOGY & WEAPONS

Quiet hands, lean build, patient as his namesake. Xenobiology specialist and armorer — the one who knows what the weapons do and what the things they're aimed at are made of.

One Timeline At A Time

This universe does not branch. When a timeline is overwritten, the old one is gone — replaced, not paralleled. There have been three. You are living in the last one.

// STATUS: OVERWRITTEN T0 THE ORIGINAL LINE

The world as it first happened. Resource wars. Clones as commodity. A singer in a surveilled city, recording songs no one was supposed to remember. It ended — but not the way you think.

// STATUS: OVERWRITTEN T1 THE CORRECTED LINE

Something was sent back. Small. Compact. Potent. It made the world kinder — and carried a flaw no one could see from inside it. This line, too, had to go.

// STATUS: ACTIVE — SOLE TIMELINE T2 THE SERIES — NOW

2085: something falls out of the sky over Antarctica, and history quietly changes course. 2091: the Void Knights operate in Chicago. 2093: something is coming. Something evil awaits that brings with it the end of the world.

Recovered Queries — FAQ

What is Void Knights?

Void Knights is a cinematic science-fiction web series created by composer Miguel Johnson. Set in 2091 Chicago, it follows a covert organization of nine operatives — deniable investigators and protectors working in the shadows. The story connects to the ARCHERON expedition, a deep-space survey vessel from the 30th century, and the Salome 2093 music project.

Who created Void Knights?

Void Knights is created by Miguel Johnson, a Las Vegas-based composer for film, TV, and video games. The project represents his original science-fiction IP, combining his cinematic scoring background with long-form narrative worldbuilding. It is produced under the 22nd Century Media banner.

Is Void Knights connected to Salome 2093?

Yes. Salome is a character within the Void Knights universe — the first Void Knight and a core operative. Her music project, Salome 2093, exists as both an in-universe transmission archive and a real cinematic noir trip-hop music project by Miguel Johnson. The Listener, an AI from the Void Knights timeline, carries Salome's songs from dystopian 2093 Chicago back to the present.

Who are the Void Knights operatives?

The Void Knights roster includes nine confirmed operatives: Auto (John Stone) — a masked contractor with advanced armor; Maeve (M. Callaghan) — pilot who flies anything with a throttle; Dr. Naomi Keene — the team's physician; Violeht (A. Lee) — communications and intelligence; Vulture King (V. King) — senior command; Salome — operative and investigator; Seagull (S. Gyu-han) — science and analysis; Gahrek (R. Takeda) — engineering and field ops; and Mantis (M. Ramirez) — biology and weapons.

What is the ARCHERON?

The ARCHERON is a deep-survey expedition carrier from the 30th century that was sent to the 82 Eridani system. Its crew discovered something in the dark that changed everything. The ARCHERON crash-landed in Antarctica in 2085, and its surviving members form the backbone of the Void Knights' operational capability.

What is the T2 timeline?

T2 is the active and sole remaining timeline in the Void Knights universe. Two earlier timelines (T0 and T1) have been overwritten. T2 begins in 2085 when the ARCHERON falls out of the sky over Antarctica, and follows the Void Knights through 2091 Chicago toward a coming event in 2093.

When does Episode 1 release?

Void Knights Episode 1 — "The ARCHERON" is scheduled for release in September 2026. The series is currently in production under 22nd Century Media. Follow Miguel Johnson Music and Salome 2093 on YouTube for trailers, music, and updates.
